Basic information about the construction of pool roofing
Basic dimensions
- The distance between the rails can be arbitrary.
- The standard length of segments is 2160 mm.
- The width of one front side is 33 mm.

Segments can be extended up to 2564 mm. In this case, it depends on the size and type of the roofing and the type of polycarbonate used (as agreed with the pool roofing manufacturer).

- Segments can also be shortened according to requirements.
- Pool roofing can be raised up to half the distance between the rails.
In both cases, it depends on the size and type of the pool roofing (as agreed with the pool roofing manufacturer).
- We can reinforce segments for sub-mountainous areas and areas with extreme natural conditions.
Aluminum structure
The aluminum structure is made from specially developed profiles that are designed by our company and custom-manufactured. These profiles differ from each other in terms of external dimensions as well as the dimensions of the reinforcements within the profile. To ensure excellent roofing strength, the appropriate profile type is always used based on the structural complexity, type, and size of the roofing. The profiles are designed to allow condensed water to drain out and prevent water from freezing inside the profiles during winter months.
Elox is a surface treatment for aluminum and its alloys, created through anodized oxidation – a process known as anodizing. When aluminum is artificially oxidized, a very hard and uniform protective layer forms on its surface. This is advantageous compared to painting or coating, as the color is difficult to chip or peel off, even during material bending.
Color of the structure
We offer the option of surface finishing:
- Silver anodizing – basic version
- Bronze anodizing
- According to RAL color
*The color representation of color samples is informative, as it depends on the monitor settings.
Sealing between segments
For a perfect sealing between segments, black EPDM sealing is used. Thanks to its optimal material properties, it guarantees maximum lifespan and high elasticity, even in the most extreme weather conditions.
EPDM is a synthetic polymer based on ethylene-propylene, and it has very good physical and mechanical properties. It is resistant to atmospheric conditions and is also resistant to many chemicals.
