We will roof your pool…

Construction prep

How to properly prepare the base for installing the rails.

The base for installing the rails must be reinforced (concrete at least B20, all types of ceramic and stone tiles laid in concrete, etc.). We do not recommend installing rails on unreinforced surfaces (such as tiles loosely placed on compacted substrates or concrete, etc.). In such cases, there could be movement of the tiles, loosening of the attached rails, and deformation of the entire pool enclosure. The base for mounting pool enclosure rails on a wall (Terrace, Rock) must also be strong and cohesive; enclosures cannot be mounted on unreinforced surfaces (e.g., insulated facades, etc.). This applies to all types of pool enclosures.

The surface for installing the pool enclosure must be level, and the maximum deviation should not exceed 5 mm along the entire length of the rails. If the surface is uneven, the rails must be shimmed, which might lead to limitations in the sliding movement of the pool enclosure and friction between the lower parts of individual segments and the rails. The reinforced area beneath the rail should be at least 3 cm wider on each side than the width of the rail.

In case of limited access to the pool, it’s necessary to provide an appropriate number of helpers to assist in placing the segments onto the rails.

For the installation of the pool enclosure, we will need an electrical power supply (230V) within 20 meters from the installation site.

The pool enclosure must be adapted to extreme natural conditions (such as mountainous and hilly areas, places with excessively strong gusty winds, etc.). Therefore, it is important to inform us about these factors so that we can offer you a suitable design for your pool enclosure.

Absolutely, it’s crucial to consider all utility lines and infrastructure that could be affected during the installation of the pool enclosure, such as electrical wiring, water pipes, drainage systems, and any other elements. Ensuring their protection and proper integration with the enclosure is essential to avoid damage and ensure a successful installation.

Absolutely, consulting with us about any changes or modifications made to the installation area after the initial measurement of the pool (such as tree planting, fence or terrace construction, etc.) is essential. This will help ensure that the pool enclosure installation goes smoothly and avoids any unexpected challenges or complications during the process.

It’s important to note that the segments should always be accessible for sliding out in case of damage, either from the front or rear side of the rails. This accessibility ensures that the segments can be easily removed for maintenance or repairs. Additionally, if any modifications are made to the installation area that hinder the smooth demounting of the enclosure or its parts (such as covering, embedding the rails, building walls or structures, planting trees, etc.), it’s the customer’s responsibility to remove or modify these changes at their own cost to enable proper demounting or repairs.

Furthermore, any potential damage incurred during the transportation of the enclosure or its parts to the designated location for repair or inspection is the responsibility of the customer. It’s important for the customer to be aware of these considerations to ensure the ongoing functionality and ease of maintenance of the pool enclosure.
